Lily Luna, Lily Luna, do you want to trade?

There’s a boy I know who won’t leave me alone; I wrote your name and brought a gift I made.

They say the pond is the only place you play, but I guess you’re not here today.

Lily Luna, Lily Luna, do you want to trade?

My friends won’t talk to me; I wrote your name and brought a pretty rock that called to me.

They say you play alone and gather stones, but I guess you went home.

Lily Luna, Lily Luna, do you want to trade?

My throat is sore and I can’t speak; I wrote your name and brought a sweet my mother made.

They say you’ll stay this time if I write your name next to mine.
